2026 Johnson County Fair Queen Contest
Applications due June 12, 2026
Are you or someone you know interested in becoming the 2026 fair queen? Applications are now available and must be submitted by June 12, 2026 for consideration.
All selected contestants will be notified by June 15 and provided with more details about this year’s program. Interviews will be held Thursday evening, July 23rd and the award ceremony will be Saturday, July 25th at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Building A.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a hard deadline, applications after the form closes on June 12, 2026, will not be accepted.
Bill Riley Talent Search
Singing, dancing, gymnastics and more!
Join us on Saturday, July 25th as we see the many talents of sprouts and juniors in this year’s Bill Riley Talent Search. The show starts at 1 p.m. in Building A at the 2026 Johnson County Fair!

Antique Tractor Pull
Sunday, July 20, 11 a.m.
The track will be busy with antique tractors on Sunday, July 20! Featuring antique and farm stock classes, the Antique Tractor Pull will begin at 11 a.m.
Interested in participating? Weigh in will begin at 10 a.m. with 50% pay back. Classes will include:
- 3,500-7,500 Antique and Farm Stock
- 10,500 Non-Turbo 6MPH
- 12,000 Turbo Farm Stock 6MPH
Friendship Show
Sunday, July 20, 4 p.m.
Participants will be paired with a Johnson County exhibitor who is an expert in the areas of a calf, goat, pig or sheep. Participants must be between the ages of 5 to 20 at the time of the fair to participate. All disabilities are welcome to participate in the 2025 Johnson County Fair Friendship Show.
